Scholarships for Undergraduates, Graduates, and PhD Students
The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to approximately
1,000 undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students of all subjects
and nationalities per year, who are pursuing their degree at
universities, universities of applied sciences (‘Fachhochschulen’), or
universities of the arts (‘Kunsthochschulen’). We expect our scholarship
recipients to have excellent academic records, to be socially and
politically engaged, and to have an active interest in the basic values
of the foundation: ecology and sustainability, democracy and human
rights, self determination and justice.

The
scholarships are awarded for all subjects. Having in the past awarded
scholarships mainly to students of the humanities, social sciences, art,
and culture, the Foundation is now, in addition, particularly
interested in students of economics, law, engineering, science,
mathematics, and journalism.
Number of Scholarships:
The
Heinrich Böll Foundation awards around 950 scholarships a year divided
among Germans and international students. About 5/6 of them go to
undergraduates and graduates and 1/6 to PhD students.
Target group:
The
scholarship program allots scholarships to international students.
Special (but not exclusive) focus regions are: Central/Eastern Europe,
EU neighbourhood/CIS; Middle East/Northern Africa; transition and newly
industrialised countries as well as conflict regions worldwide.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
€750 per month for Masters students and €1000 per month for PhD students.
Today I present to you one of the new faces in the Nigeria music industry, a rap maestro Jaysyn Cypher. He is a gospel hip pop rapper dropping spirit filled lyrics with poetic lines. He is also a writer and a poet based in Kd but hails from Kogi state, Nigeria.

POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
The Human Resources (HR) Unit is mandated to focus
on strategic issues such as, capacity development, career repositioning
and mentoring of staff. The HR unit handles recruitment, selections,
placements, staff career development and performance management.
Addittionaly, the Unit is responsible for staff learning, training and
development. The unit supports other UN agencies (UNIFEM, UNAIDS,
UNFPA, UNITAR, UNDSS, UNIC, UNIDO, UNODC, UNIDO, UNCTAD, IFAD, UNEP,
UNOV and UN HABITAT) in managing their HR issues.

Academically gifted students with limited resources deserve the
ability to reach their potential. SGU recognizes this, and that’s why
60 full-tuition scholarships will be awarded to Commonwealth citizens
under the St. George’s University, Grenada, Commonwealth Jubilee
Scholarship Program, commemorating the 60 years of the Queens reign as
the Head of the Commonwealth of Nations.
Application deadlines (commencing with the August 2013
class) are June1 for the August class and November 1 for the January
class.
